Steffi Walter-Martin is the only woman to win two Olympic gold medals for luge. She took the title in 1984 and 1988 and on each occasion led the East Germans to a clean sweep of the medals. She was also the World Champion in 1983 and 1985, and won the World Cup in 1984. |
