Hi,
I'm using WordPress as a CMS (i.e. I'm presenting mostly pages rather than posts). I'm having a go at using Carrington Blog as a basis for a custom theme.
In the Reading settings of WordPress I'm using a static page as my front page, and I've modified content/page.php to make some changes to static pages. BUT, when the page is set to be the static front page it doesn't use this template, it uses content-default.php.
This would seem to be a bug, but perhaps it's intentional? Can this be explained? And what's the recommended way of modifying the front page without messing up all my posts?
Thanks
