The does not write serial information in the exif. See the supported cameras page for a list of models that do.
Sorry this isn't currently a supported model. HOWEVER as you're looking for a Canon Powershot we may still be able to find it. But we need your help...
If you have it, please email us 2 photos taken with your camera along with the serial number. Obviously, you can only do this if you wrote it down or still have the box. The serial number is normally 10 or 12 digits long and begins with "(21)".
