Welcome to the Online Forum on Intellectual Property in the Information Society, hosted by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) from June 1 to 15, 2005.  The live discussion has now concluded and the Report of the Online Forum is available (Adobe PDF / MS-Word).  Thank you to all those who participated.

The WIPO Online Forum was open to all interested persons and designed to enable and encourage an open debate on issues related to intellectual property in the information society, and in furtherance of the goals of the World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS).  The conclusions of the Online Forum form part of WIPO's contribution to WSIS.

WIPO did not moderate the Forum although, according to the instructions given, three obscene or abusive comments were removed and any comments duplicated by user error were deleted.
