Petri Myllymäki, Ph.D., Docent of Computer Science
	Professor, Artificial intelligence and machine learning Department of Computer Science University of Helsinki, Finland Director, Helsinki Institute for Information Technology (HIIT) Vice-Director, Finnish Center for Artificial Intelligence (FCAI) Director, Helsinki Doctoral Education Network in ICT (HICT)	Petri Myllymäki is a professor of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning at the Department of Computer Science of University of Helsinki, Finland, and the Director of the Helsinki Institute for Information Technology (HIIT), a joint research institute of University of Helsinki and Aalto University. He is also the vice-Director of the Finnish Center for Artificial Intelligence (FCAI), and the Director of the Helsinki Doctoral Education Network in ICT (HICT). Prof. Myllymäki is one of the co-founders of the Complex Systems Computation (CoSCo) research group, and he has over 30 years of experience in artificial intelligence research. His current research interests are focused on machine learning and data science, in particular with Bayesian networks and other probabilistic models. He has been an editorial board member, program chair, committee member and reviewer for numerous international scientific journals, conferences and organizations, and he has published over 150 scientific articles in his research area. He is a co-founder of Ekahau Inc., BayesIT Inc., Cloud'N'Sci Inc. and Etsimo Inc., and has also been responsible for several applied research projects with other companies including Nokia, Tieto, Elisa, M-Brain, Kesko, Kone, StoraEnso, Space Systems Finland/European Space Agency, ABB and AlmaMedia, and the industrial co-operation has lead to a number of fielded applications and patents. He is currently the chairman of the National Collaboration Forum for Scientific Computing, chairman of the working group in Digitalization and AI in the programme "Vision for higher education and research in 2030" of the Ministry of Education and Culture, expert member of the steering group of the research programme on "Novel Applications of Artificial Intelligence in Physical Sciences and Engineering Research (AIPSE)" of the Academy of Finland, member of the Finnish Academy of Technology, member of the National Committee for Research Data Management, and member of the ESFRI Strategy Working Group for Data, Computing and Digital Research Infrastructures (SWG DIGIT).
