I set up Planet Web 2.0 back in 2005 as a way for me to keep track of key influencers of the Web 2.0 movement. I made it public so that others could also benefit from it. Three years later I think that Web 2.0 is firmly a part of the web experience and the need to track the early proponents of its ideas has passed. So, it's time to close this site and turn my attention to other emerging areas.
