Today we've relased eyeOS 0.6.2.3. It is recommended that everybody upgrades to this version since it fixes several security issues, discovered by our new developer, who will bring OOP to EyeOS: Luis Martin-Santos.

We want to thank osnews admins for publishing about us, and also everyone who has contributed and showed interest in our project.

Thanks to aquilax, who submitted the bulgarian translation, you can now enjoy eyeOS in one more language. We encourage you to translate eyeOS to your own language because this way it will be more open. Again, thanks to aquilax for his work. The new language will be present in eyeOS since 0.6.3, which will be realsed shortly.

The major update since 0.6.1 is that now the variable Register_Globals in php.ini can be Off! This change is important because lots of hosting sites in Internet have Register_Globals=Off, and eyeOS < 0.6.2 couln't be installed there.
Alse, Phones has been rewritten, and now supports more fields (Thanks to mimpo for the idea). Please test eyeOS 0.6.2 and report bugs!

With the new design, we have added the Download section, with the Changelog of new versions and the Requeriments for server and client. Additionally, we've added the new Forum system.

EyeOS v0.6.1 is available for download. There are some new features as the retype password feature in Options. There are also much bugs corrected. You can read them in the changelog. Thanks to everyone who has reported bugs.

EyeOS v0.6.0 and eyeOS.org website are avaliable. 0.6.0 is the first public realse of eyeOS. Thanks to SourceForge for hosting our project and thanks to everyone who has helped us to develop the base of eyeOS!
